HOW CAN I MAKE A BOOKING REQUEST?

The booking request process is very simple and must be done online.

First of all, take a look at the homes we have available for the dates you need to stay and choose the one you like the most, take into account the most favorable location for you and if you want to share your experience with many people or prefer a flat more intimate to share with fewer people.

As soon as you choose what you want your new Coliving Inèdit home to be, take a look at its rooms and choose the one you like best.

Make your reservation request online and tell us a little about yourself, who you are, why you are coming to Barcelona and what you are going to be doing in this incredible city. We will check all your information and if everything is correct, we will send you the acceptance of your online reservation with a link so that you can make the payment, thus confirm your reservation, and start this new and incredible experience in Barcelona!

WHICH DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO MAKE A BOOKING REQUEST?

You will need to send us a copy of your identity card (european) or passport (non european) and a copy of your acceptance letter or enrollment document from your university/school or a copy of your internship or working contract. If you are entrepreneur just provide us with any document that proof your activity.

Also, you will need to fill in a form with all your personal and stay information and read and accept our terms and conditions.

Inedit is your home, your workplace and the best place to share the experience of living in the city with roommates from all over the world. A fully furnished private room, shared spaces to enjoy a unique experience, weekly cleaning, everything you need to do your laundry comfortably, all the cleaning and hygiene products you need for your day to day life, access to a wide and diverse community with members from all over the world and of course, cultural activities and events.

Throughout your stay you will enjoy the attention of your Coliving Manager, who will become your personal guide, will help you with any problem you may have and will make your experience unforgettable.

The single rental price includes:

DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?

To confirm your reservation it is necessary to make the payment of the guarantee deposit that is equal to one month's rent and the payment of the Rental Services Package.

This deposit will be returned to you 30 working days after the end date of your contract once our team has checked if there are no damages in the room or in the apartment, all contractual rules have been met during your stay and there are no excesses in the monthly consumption of supplies.

Keep in mind that the security deposit will never cover one month's rent.

On the start day of your contract, in case you do not arrive to check in and we do not receive any notification during the 48 hours prior to your arrival date, the company reserves the right to cancel your reservation without refunding the deposit or the Rental Services Package.

DO I NEED TO MAKE ANY OTHER PAYMENTS?

To do your booking, you will have to choose a Rental Services Pack which include a large variety of services, depending on your necessities and the duration of your stay.

* Home Insurance: It covers most of the incidences that could happen at the apartment.

** Empadronamiento: Our team will take care of all the process and will give you the empadronamiento certificate after your arrival. To carry out the Empadronamiento in the apartment, a mandatory reservation of at least 6 months is necessary and it is necessary to access public health services, to request the NIE or TIE or to obtain a bank account. Request this service as soon as possible from our team as appointments may be delayed due to the high volume of requests in the town hall.

*** NIE or TIE: Our team will provide you with a step-by-step guide, advice and information so that you can manage your application for your NIE or TIE.

WHAT MEANS 50 € OF SUPPLIES BILLS INCLUDED?

At Inèdit we are responsible and energy efficient, we like to collaborate in caring for the environment and make responsible use of water, gas and electricity. That's why we encourage and help you controling the consumption of supplies in your home through our monthly report.

Supplies are included in the monthly bill with a maximum of €50 per person per month, including water, electricity and gas. Our team performs the readings on a monthly basis with the meters in the apartment and our Coliving Manager will send you a complete monthly report with all the details about the consumption of the previous month, the cost and graphs with the previous months to help you manage better and responsibly the use of the supplies in your apartment.

If one of the months of your stay, you pass the 50€ included in your monthly rent, you can compensate with any other month of your stay. For example, if one month you have 60€ and another month you have 40€, it will be automatically compensated.  In any case, you will not have to pay anything during your stay.

At the end of your stay, we will provide you with a summary of consumption and in the event that the included €50 per month has been exceeded, we will deduct this excess from your deposit.

BOOKINGS CANCELLATION POLICY BEFORE YOU ARRIVAL:

In case of the cancellation of a booking, penalizations will be applied:

  • Cancellations of reservations confirmed at least one month before the established start date of the contract, will be penalized with a payment of €250. In the event that in the next 12 months you decide to make a new reservation with Inèdit, we will discount the standard service pack.
  • Cancellations of reservations confirmed during the 30 days prior to the established date of the beginning of the contract, will be penalized with the full payment of the deposit. In the event that in the next 12 months you decide to make a new reservation with Inèdit, we will discount the standard service pack.
  • You can modify the dates of your current reservation up to 30 days before your arrival without any penalty.
POLICY OF MODIFICATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS OF CONTRACTS AFTER YOUR ARRIVAL:

You can reduce your rental contract as long as you do so at least 2 months before the new end date of the contract. In this case, the reduction of the contract will entail a penalty of €100 and we will return the security deposit in full (according to final review) and we will eliminate future payments. To confirm the modification of the contract, it is necessary to pay the penalty and sign the corresponding attached document.

In the case of notifying the reduction of the contract less than 2 months before the new end date, the reduction of the contract will entail the payment of a penalty equal to the deposit, but we will also eliminate all future payments pending payment.

COVID 19 POLICY: In the event that your project in Barcelona is canceled (class suspension or employment contract cancellation), you will have the possibility of canceling your contract without any penalty, providing supporting documentation from your company/university.

You can extend your rental contract as long as the requested room is available for a maximum of 3 months at an extra cost of €45 (single payment per extension). You can make as many extensions as you want as long as we have availability. The extension will only be effective when the payment of the fee has been made and the document annexed to the corresponding contract has been signed.

You can change rooms during your rental contract as long as the requested room is available at an extra cost of €50 (single payment per request). The change will only be effective once the payment of the corresponding fee has been made and the document annexed to the corresponding contract has been signed.

ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURE RULES:
  • Arrivals and formalization of the rental contract will take place from Monday to Friday from 09.30h to 18.00h in our office at Carrer Puigmarti 35, local 1, we are in Gràcia neighborhood, next to Joanic (L4) metro station.
  • You can choose to formalize the rental contract directly at the apartment during this schedule per 35 € extra, during business hours from 09:30h to 19:00h from Monday to Friday, holidays not included.
  • Early (from 08.00h to 09.00h) and Late (from 19.00h to 21.00h) arrivals and weekend arrivals will have an extra cost of 50 €.
  • The last day of your rental contract, you will need to leave your bedroom before 11.00h. In cas you need to stay longer, just let us know.
  • As you are arriving to a new home, there will be no possibility to welcome you after 21.00h, as we consider it is a relax time

Arrivals will be scheduled through the private panel that we will provide you on our website. If you have any questions, you can always contact us by email or phone. If you check in online at least 15 days before your arrival, you will allow our team to help you organize your arrival at your new home more easily. For this to happen, our team needs to organize all the little details via email. It is necessary and very important that you send us your arrival information at least one month in advance so that our team can organize everything. Departures must also be confirmed one month in advance.

Carrying out the online registration process at least 15 days before your arrival will allow our team to help you with the arrival of your new home. For that to happen, our team needs to organize all the little details to make it possible, therefore we ask that you send all the details as soon as possible. Remember that you must make all your payments before your check in or at least at the time of your arrival in order to formalize your rental contract. Departures must be confirmed through your private panel on our website at least 15 days before your departure.

MONTHLY RENT DISCOUNTS FOR THE 1ST AND LAS LAST MONTH OF THE RENTAL CONTRACT:

If you arrive:

  • Between the 1st and the 10th day of each month, you will need to pay the complete month.
  • Between the 11th or the 20th day of each month, we will discount you 20% of your rent for the first month.
  • The 21st or later, you will pay per day. The price per night is 30€/person.

If you leave:

  • Between the 1st and the 9th day of each month, you will pay per day. The Price per night is 30€/person.
  • Between the 10th and the 19th day of each month, we will discount you 20% of your rent for the last month.
  • The 20th or later, you will need to pay the complete month.

You can do all your payments online through the private panel that we will provide you on our website by card or bank transfer. In case you need, you can also use cash at our office.

In case you pay by bank transfer or similar the amount of the payment must be exact and the transfer costs must be assumed by the applicant. Transfer should indicate the name and last name of the tenant. For debit and credit card payments, there will be a commission of 1%.

HOW LONG/SHORT CAN I STAY?

All Inèdit apartments offer leases for as littler as 32 nights and as long as a year. You can always extend your rental contract in case you want to keep enjoying and incredible life experience.

¿CAN I REGISTER IN THE APARTMENT? (EMPADRONAMIENTO)

All our apartments accept the registration (empadronamiento) of all its residents.

The requirement to be able to do the registration is that the rental contract is for at least 6 months.

These 6 minimum months of stay in case of registration, are mandatory and cannot be reduced in any case.

The registration process is carried out by the Inèdit Barcelona team and is included in the service pack, so you do not have to pay any extra cost.

Request your registration as soon as possible so our team has enough time to request the appointment and once the registration is done, we will notify you so that you can pick it up at the office.

The registration date can never be prior to the starting date of the rental contract.

WHERE ARE INÈDIT APARTMENTS LOCATED?

All our Inèdit homes are located in Barcelona city center, in Gràcia, Gòtic, Eixample and Sant Gervasi neighborhoods. We are growing and working to have new Coliving homes in new areas.

Next to all our Inèdit Coliving homes you will find public transport like metro and bus, shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants, schools, big companies and much more.

WHAT ARE INÈDIT APARTMENTS LIKE?

We offer apartments from 2 to 9 bedrooms. All our Coliving homes are fully furnished and equipped with everything you will need during your stay. You will find a bedroom with a comfortable bed, bed table or shelve, a working area with desk, chair and desk light, closet and heating system. Every bedroom is special and you will find extras in each one. You can check them on our website. 

All our apartments have a useful kitchen completely equipped, a comfortable living area with sofas and big tables to enjoy your stay with your flatmates and at least, one complete bathroom with shower or bathtub.

ARE THERE OPTIONS FOR COUPLES?

Yes, we have rooms that can accommodate couples.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?

You must be 18 years old to apply for a bedroom with us.

DO YOU ALLOW PETS?

While we love animals, pets may be allowed as an accommodation for tenants with qualified disability.

CAN I HAVE VISITS AT THE APARTMENT?

Yes, you can have visits during the daily hours (09:00 to 22:00h). You will always be responsible of the behavior of your visitors and the damages that they can cause.

WHO WILL BE MY FLATMATES?

Inèdit is a totally inclusive environment. In all our homes you will find students and young professionals, generally between 20 and 35 years old, from all over the world and with a profile very similar to yours.

If you want more specific information about who your Colivers partners will be, do not hesitate to ask our Bookings Manager at any time and he will provide you with non-confidential information so that you can get an idea of who your next partners will be.

CAN I CHANGE ROOMS OR APARTMENTS DURING MY STAY?

Of course, you can change your room or apartment as many times as you want to any of our Colivings :)

The fee for changing the room is €50 and will always depend on whether the room is available.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SOMETHING IS NOT WORKING?

Simply contact your Coliving Manager and our maintenance team will come to the apartment to fix any issues. The only thing we will need from you is a detailed explanation of what the incident is and photographs in which you identify yourself as best as possible. This will help us to better identify the type of incident and solve it as soon as possible.

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CLEANING?

Despite we are sure that you will collaborate taking out the trash daily, using the dishwasher, that you will have your bedroom very neat and will keep all common areas clean and tidy after using them, there is a weekly cleaning service of the common areas included on your monthly bill. In case you need, we have extra cleaning services for your private bedroom, just ask us.

CAN I INVITE MY FRIEDNS TO SLEEP AT THE APARTMENT?

You can have one guest per month who can sleep in your room for a maximum of 4 consecutive nights, always after receiving authorization by our team via email.

In addition, you must inform your roommates of your visit. In case your visitor wants to stay with you for more nights, each extra night will cost €30 and it is always necessary to obtain authorization from Inèdit. Having guests in the apartment without permission or authorization from Inèdit will entail a penalty of €100 per night and guest.

WHAT IS THE RATIO OF BATHROOMS PER ROOM?

We have some rooms that have ensuite bathrooms, but for our rooms without a dedicated bathroom, we typically have 3 people to a bathroom, and never more than 5. All of our homes have a weekly cleaning included in the rent, so even when you do share a bathroom with another suitmate, you don’t have to stress over those arguments about whose turn it was to clean.

IS INÈDIT A HOTEL/HOSTEL?

The Inèdit apartments are not a hotel or a hostel where you will live with travelers who come and go daily. Living in Inèdit means living in a community, sharing a life experience with people from all over the world who settle in Barcelona for a period of time to carry out their daily lives.

CAN INÈDIT FIND ME A ROOMATE?

Of course, if you choose to stay in a shared room but you don't have anyone to share this experience with, we will find the perfect partner that best suits you, always being of the same gender.

IS THERE ANY OFFICE IN BARCELONA WHERE I CAN MEET AND CHAT WITH THE INÈDIT TEAM?

Of course! Despite all the Inèdit team will be in touch with you online and you will be assigned a personal Coliving Manager that you will be able to be in contact through phone, mail and on our community, we have a nice office at Carrer Puigmarti 35, local 1, in Gràcia neighborhood, where you will be always welcome!
