WHICH TRANSPORTS CAN I USE?  

MOVE AROUND BY BUS

You may have seen that there are too many bus lines in Barcelona, but did you know that there's a trick to know in which direction they go? If they have a V before the bus line number that means that the Barcelona bus route is Vertical and if the letter is an H that means that it is a Horizontal route. The vertical routes are the ones that move between the coast and the mountains and the horizontal ones move between the two rivers that surround Barcelona: The Llobregat and the Besos. TAKE THE METRO 

The Barcelona Metro is a popular public transport highly used by Barcelona citizens because it’s a method of transport that allows us to go from one side of the city to another, and even of the towns that are part of the metropolitan area, quickly. There are 11 Metro lines that interconnect all the areas of Barcelona and let Barcelona citizens realize transshipments in an easy way. Enjoy the experience of discovering Barcelona by cycling around with your own Barcelona bike. How? Contract the Bicing Barcelona service and pedal all around the city in order to discover its streets in a different way. You can purchase it online by paying an annual fee, but keep in mind that you’ll be able to use this service only if you have your NIE!

WE PICK YOU UP IN THE AIRPORT

Don’t worry about how to get to your Inèdit Home when arriving at Barcelona airport, as for sure you will be carrying more than one luggage with you. We’ll organize a transfer service that will bring you to your new Home in Barcelona. Forget about where the taxis and buses are located, the driver will wait for you even if there is a delay in the flight. Simply pick an Inèdit transfer in advance to assure a comfortable journey.  

THE COST OF MOVING AROUND BARCELONA 

To move around Barcelona with public transport it’s mandatory to buy a ticket, otherwise you’ll need to pay a fine of 100€, and it’s easier to pay 2,20€ for a single ticket, don´t you think?

Don´t forget that if your main purpose is to move around Barcelona center, with Zone 1 you're fully covered! 

  • T-Dia (unlimited journeys for 24 hours). A single-person ticket with an unlimited number of journeys for 24 hours, starting to count on the first use. A perfect option to move around and discover Barcelona in one day!
  • T-Casual (10 journeys). A single-person timed ticket for 10 journeys on any type of transport, ideal for casual use of the Barcelona metropolitan transport.
  • T-Usual (unlimited journeys for 30 days). A non-transferable single-person ticket with an unlimited number of journeys for 30 consecutive days, starting to count from the first day of use. The best option if you have to commute daily, but don´t forget that this ticket must be accompanied by a valid official identification card of the holder.
  • T-Grup (70 journeys for 30 days). A multi-person timed ticket with 70 journeys during one month, starting to count on the first use. Ideal option if you use to share your journeys with other Inèdit colivers frequently. 
  • T-Familiar (8 journeys for 30 days). A multi-person timed ticket for 8 journeys on 30 consecutive days as of its first use. Another economic option to use public transport sharing the ticket with another person.

All the tickets allow you to use all the transports listed above, except Bicing and the Inèdit transfer from/to the airport. 

TRANSPORTATION ZONES OF BARCELONA AND ITS SURROUNDINGS

Keep in mind that the transport around Barcelona is divided into zones and Barcelona City is Zone 1 but in order to go further like to Sitges for example, you’ll need to buy a ticket for more zones. Check this zone map and discover which are the zones of all the towns that surround Barcelona

WHERE CAN I BUY MY TICKET?

You’ll be able to buy a transport ticket in any Barcelona metro or train station, in a vending machine, and in most of the stations a staff member can assist you if needed. For more specific information, you can head to one of the TMB customer service point situated at Plaça Universitat, Plaça Catalunya, La Sagrera and Diagonal.
